The free scan
How long does a scan take?
Usually about two minutes. Large or slow sites take a little longer, because siseo waits between requests rather than hurrying your server. The progress page shows what it is doing.
How many pages does it check?
Up to 200 in a free scan and up to 1,000 for a full report. siseo starts at your homepage and follows your links and sitemaps. If your site is bigger, the result says so.
Why is my score different from other tools?
Search engines don’t publish a score, and every tool weighs things differently. siseo’s score measures how your site does on its 182 checks, weighted by how much each problem matters. It is most useful for tracking your own progress.
The scan says my site blocked it. What now?
Some firewalls and bot-protection services stop crawlers they don’t know. The result explains what happened. You can allow SiseoBot in that service, and check that your robots.txt doesn’t disallow it.
Can I scan any website?
Any public website, as a search engine would. siseo only reads public pages, and fair-use limits stop automated abuse.

What is in the full report?
Up to 1,000 pages checked, every issue ranked with step-by-step fixes for your platform, every page with its problems, speed for each type of page, AI search readiness including whether AI assistants mention you, Google’s malware and phishing check, a PDF and a spreadsheet, and one free re-scan within 30 days.
How soon is it ready?
Usually within a few minutes of paying. siseo re-crawls your site more deeply, tests speed on each type of page and writes your summary, then emails you when the report is ready.
Can I share it?
Yes. Download the PDF or the spreadsheet and send them to anyone. The online report opens only from your account.
What is the free re-scan?
Within 30 days of buying, you can re-scan once at no cost. The report then shows what changed since the first scan, so you can see your fixes working.
How long can I open my report?
Your reports stay in your account under My reports.
Account, payment and refunds
Do I need an account?
Not for the free scan. For a full report, yes: you create one at checkout, and it is where your reports live, so only you can open them.
How much does it cost?
$10 for one site, paid once. There is no subscription.
How do I pay?
By card or the other methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment provider; siseo never sees or stores your full card number.
Can I get a refund?
If your report can’t be produced, or something in it is wrong because of a fault on our side, we fix it or refund you. See the refund policy for the details.
Privacy and SiseoBot
What do you keep when I scan?
The address you scanned, the findings, where your visit came from (such as a search or a link), and a keyed hash of your IP address that is used only to stop abuse. The IP address itself is never stored. Free scans are deleted after 90 days.
Do you sell data?
No. The privacy policy lists exactly what is collected, why, and who helps us process it.
How do I stop SiseoBot crawling my site?
Add “User-agent: SiseoBot” followed by “Disallow: /” to your robots.txt. SiseoBot reads robots.txt before every scan and follows it.
